Sorry for the delay =)
If you're new here,
get started from the 1st lesson =D
4th lesson now !!
Honestly, I prefer to update my another blog
*click it*
'coz it's like my diary.
Teaching is hard.
Hahax !!
So,
you've learned how to read Japanese word and how to greet.
Let's get into conversation =D
I am Katou.
わたしは かとうです。
(Watashiwa Katoudesu.)
Watashiwa means "I".
Katou is the name.
Desu is "am".
So,
is like I Katou am.
I've heard Japanese sucks in English.
I guess I know why now. =D
*Maybe you guys are wondering why は is pronounced as "Wa"
since it's originally pronounced as "Ha"*
わたしは かとうです。
Subject Name
It's essential to put the は after the Subject
and the pronunciation will be changed from "Ha" to "Wa".
But only in this special occasion.
I am Suzuki.
わたしは すずきです。
(Watashiwa Suzukidesu.)
Again.
Watashiwa = "I"
Suzuki = Name
Desu = "am"
(So, is like I Suzuki am.)
Next !!
I am Japanese.
わたしは 日本人です。
(Watashiwa Nihonjindesu.)
Never seen the word 日本人 ??
This is Kanji word.
Remember I've mentioned there are 3 types of language in Japanese?
Hiragana, Katana and Kanji.
Kanji looks like Chinese words but pronounced in Japanese.
日本人 is in Kanji.
にほんじん is in Hiragana.
Same pronunciation right?
Kanji is very wide.
Normally people will use Kanji to write if it's available,
then Hiragana will be its pronunciation.
It's time for you to fill up your own answer !!
わたしは 人です。
アメリカ = America
(A-me-ri-ka)
フィリピン = Philippine
(Fi-ri-pi-n)
ちゅうごく= China
(Chu-u-go-ku)
かんごく= Korea
(Ka-n-go-ku)
If you're American,
then you should write
わたしは アメリカ人です。
(Watashiwa Amerikajindesu.)
*I am American*
Easy right? =)
Just for more info,
アメリカ and フィリピン are in Katakana.
ちゅうごくand かんごくare in Hiragana.
Why?
As I've mentioned in my last lessons before,
Katakana is a translation from English language.
America and Philippine are basically created in English first.
But China and Korea are not.
OK.
So you know "I" in Japanese is Watashiwa (わたしは) right?
How about "You", "He", "She"?
Chill.
Gotta teach everything here =D
You are Japanese.
あなたわ 日本人です。
(A-na-ta-wa Ni-ho-n-ji-n-de-su.)
*Desu can be in "am", "are" or "is"*
He is Mr.Tanaka.
かれは たなかさんです。
(Ka-re-wa Ta-na-ka-sa-n-de-su.)
さん/sa-n = "Mr" or "Ms" or "Mrs"
So, is like He Tanaka Mr. is.
Hahax !!
She is Ms.Suzuki.
かのじょは すずきさんです。
(Ka-no-jyo-wa Su-zu-ki-sa-n-de-su.)
I think I've taught too much here.
Blurr?
Leave me comments to ask =D
